About Outstanding Tiny Desk AI

Outstanding Tiny Desk AI is an independent web tool for making parody videos in the style of the Outstanding Tiny Desk meme. You upload one clear photo, and your lead singer takes Charlie Wilson's spot in the last seconds of his NPR Tiny Desk performance of "Outstanding": the band shot, the big laugh, the sax solo, with the song.

What the tool makes

• One template, done properly. Every video is the Outstanding set: about 15 seconds, vertical 9:16, with the original song and no watermark.
• Two seats are yours. A lead singer (required) and, if you like, a friend on sax at no extra cost. Keys and the back row are played by AI musicians.
• No app, no CapCut template, no prompt. Upload in your browser and download the MP4.

The result is AI-generated: it looks like the person in your photo, not a perfect copy. See the examples for what to expect, and the step-by-step guide for the photos that work best.

What it costs

One-time packs: 1 video for $8.90, 3 for $19.90 and 5 for $29.90. Each video uses 10 credits, credits never expire, and there is no subscription or free trial. If a video fails, its credits go back to your account automatically. Details are on the pricing page and in the refund policy.

Your photos

Photos are used only to make your video. How long we keep them, and who processes them, is set out in the privacy policy.
